This is why gas prices are so low.

Hello friends – it’s been awhile. Ready for another opinion piece on why gas prices are so low?
This is why: Just as all the environmentally conscious consumers wanted, the world – but mainly in the U.S., gasoline consumption is way down. That means petroleum supplies are way up and production is exceeding consumption.
Not only that… pay attention to the unemployment figures and the number of companies going bankrupt now. As these figures go up that means less money is getting spent into the system. People are not spending their extra money on gas. They will spend it on food or maybe even local bar entertainment.
I know in my family we aren’t spending extra money just to go on a trip somewhere. Any extra money goes for all the other necessities like food, home heating, school stuff for the kids such as clothing and study supplies.
You would think with the price of gas going down this low for so long, the cost of other products would also be coming down. Are they? If they are it is barely noticeable.
Well… since my time is short I just wish you all the best. Keep your chin up. God bless.
