Right here right now there is no other place I want to drill.
All journeys start with the first step.

Hello my friends. We are still here. That’s the good news thanks to God.
While I just mentioned God let me stay here a moment. Earlier I was thinking about something my mom always told me as a small boy. If we were out somewhere like at a local grocery store, before we went in she would say, “Be good, God is watching you!”
Now think about it… you are a child and somebody tells you God is watching. Most kids become acutely aware of their behavior thinking there is this awesome powerful God watching every move. Do something wrong, here comes a lightning bolt to strike your butt
.
Anyway you get the picture.
So what’s all this got to do with the subject of journeys and starting with a first step?
I don’t know but I’ll try to give some perspective or context to it like this: In today’s world it just is not such a stretch to tell a person, “Be good, the government is watching you!”
Maybe we have not yet reached that dramatic of a stage in our societal evolution but in my head I see it coming, sooner than later.
Right now people in legal power are trying to insert government control even deeper into our lives under the guise of “caring” by nationalizing heath care, inserting themselves deeper into the monetary system, and quietly trying to control communications.
Thank God for the WWW. Thank Him even more for the U.S. WWW. When the day comes that I am not allowed to speak my mind on this website, …well, you finish that sentence.
I suppose if the powers really wanted to they can find pages like mine and if they take it as some kind of threat they can shut it down. They can do it with attacks on the site with bots or they can assign people to try and take your site down by spamming it continually.
And, if all of this expansion and intrusion is the first step, where is it leading you and me? Certainly not into more freedom but less freedom.
Think about it. Even after scientists have come clean admitting data used to support global warming over the last 15 years was faked, non-existent, a con game.
State and Federal governments are writing legislation, bills, laws based upon a fairy tale, trying to pass it off on the American public as science.
So, where do these steps get us?
